So, what is Managed Caravan Services?
CSTORM’s Managed Services platform is designed for caravan owners that are looking for all the benefits of earning an income through rental of their caravan but without the hassle of actually dealing with the hire, cleaning, booking management, maintenance etc. That’s our job! It means you can rest assured that your pride and joy will earn you a nice income without you having to lift a finger. Vans are treated as our own and are looked after to the highest standards.
Or, if you are looking for a good Investment opportunity, more of a set and forget option, we can offer a secure and profitable package to meet your needs.
CSTORM Caravan Storage
All Managed caravans are stored securely on site here at our property in Wootton, Great Lakes NSW. You have access to your caravan as needed.
Personal Usage
Your caravan is yours and you use it whenever you like. You simply let us know when you are planning a holiday and we will block out the Calendar so no bookings can be taken during that time. The more notice the better, especially during peak hire periods as bookings tend to be made well in advance.
Management Fees
CSTORM charges a monthly storage fee as well as a commission on hire cost. To find out more, please get in touch for a chat.
What about insurance?
This is an important topic for someone thinking about hiring their van out.
We are happy to report that the issue of insurance is actually quite simple.
As all hires are managed through the Camplify platform, caravans are completely covered for each hire by leading insurers to give you peace of mind while your caravan is off making you some extra cash.
Camplify’s Premium Membership
- When creating your membership with Camplify, you will be required to select the Premium Membership. Starting from $63 per month (varies depending on the market value of you caravan)
- This membership gives you premium insurance coverage for both private use as well as unlimited hiring ( you no longer require external comprehensive insurance)
- Insurance excess is $1000
- Reduces Camplify fees from 11% to 5%
- Includes off road travel
- Premium membership also gives you access to;
- Nationwide NRMA roadside assistance for your hirers
Premium Caravans become featured in the top RVs of your nearest Camplify tourism pages. These are high traffic landing pages, ranking highly on Google and subsequently getting thousands of extra visitors per month. (Which leads us to our next topic of advertising)
Marketing
To get the most out of hiring your caravan, we will promote your van through various platforms.
As soon as we have created your Camplify profile, your caravan will become viewable to the public and appear when people search for a caravan matching the description of yours or searching within the Great Lakes area.
As part of the Premium membership, your caravan will be featured as one of the top vans in the local area. This means that when people search for a van like yours, your van will be one of the first on the list (we all know people don’t bother scrolling down too far if they come across something they are happy with early on).

- Print Advertising – flyers, stickers, magnetic advertising material
- Personal Relationships with local Caravan Parks – we have developed great contacts with our local caravan parks who regularly pass on our details to potential hirers.
